*After verifying the planning approval details and conditions entered in the building permit application, the request will be sent to UPDA for Pre-approval if the additional studies is required in the Planning Approval for these zones.

2 Roads Planning & Design Directorate
Obtain pre-approval for the following cases: Government Processing Time
  • un-asphalted roads
  • Strategic Roads
  • Roads under development
  • Old areas
10 Working days

  4. Recent Land Certificate of Survey
  5. Any relevant Pre-approvals

  7. TIA Study ( if applicable)
  8. Recent photo of the site

3 Supreme Council for Environment
Obtain pre-approval for the following cases: Government Processing Time
  • Reclamation
  • Jetty construction

Only for parcels falling under zones specified by Tatweer that require special approvals . 10 Working days
5 Civil Aviation Authority
Obtain pre-approval for the following cases: Government Processing Time
Pre-approval is required for buildings exceeding permitted heights . 10 Working days
